2nd & 3rd Jumbo Yarns

Plied Yarn #2 and next up for beret knitting:

Think juicy blood oranges and Spanish red with a hint of rose.

Plied Yarn #3, which I spun last night:

Aqua. Turquoise. Blue. Lavender. Periwinkle. 

Tan. Cream. Gold. Orange.

They are all here together--jumbled up in jumbo yarn. 

It's almost as fun photographing yarn as making it. 

And next I get to knit with it!

First Plied Handspun Fiber

It's amazing how relaxing and how satisfying that spinning is! I could just spend hours and hours at it--if I had the time, that is.  Right now I have to squeeze it in between everything else I've got going on. 

My goal is to create some fun chunky yarns from which to create some new hats for next fall.

This is my first plied jumbo yarn

now all knitted up into a beret

and here displayed on Valerie who is considering calling a strike on hat modeling until she gets her hair.
